Gaza Pullout
6 out of 9 Settlements, according to CNN & Washington post have now been evacuated.
Lets hope this pullout isn't a Media haux or some sort of Israelli propaganda!
From what I see on T.V. and online, thousands of Military personel are pulling out (Unarmed) to the screams, cusses and prayers of the Israelli Settlers. Some even set up fires.
Now on Dubai T.V. a correspondant is saying that these settlements will be secured by both Military and Civil security forces! If that's the case, why pullout in the 1st place?
A Hamas spokesperson considers this a victory!
Will this be the beginning of all pullouts?
I'm very skeptical, it sounds too good to be true!

At this point, we can't help but be skeptical..
But still, the news from Gaza are very uplifting, wouldn't you say?
The West Bank settlements will hopefully follow soon.
Well it depends on who is covering the news. I was watching this program about Peter Jennings and his report about the concentration camps in Bosnia. The US government kept the concentration camps a secret to avoid confrontation and escalation in Europe. Al-Jazeera? we know that their credibility is no good. So tune in to BBC News to get a "better" image.
As for the pullout. Sometimes I think, if it wasnt for September 11, alot of things would have remained the same in the Middle East, including woman rights in Kuwait! So do we thank the bastard? awkward situation huh?
Interesting post :) BTW, 3 palestinians have been killed by Israeli civilians during the pullout...
I'm curious though, when the Palestinians were thrown out in 1948/1967, did they get this much coverage?

Uplifiting indeed but for how long? Are they pulling out to come back again with strength after chaos breaks? you see the Israelies have kept a tight leash on security and the local secuirty will not come close!

I stopped believing in the news since the Gulf War. Yes BBC is not as biased as Jazeera or Fox but notice how their tone changed in the coverage of July Bombings!
True how 9/11 changed a lot, specially brought exposed George Dubya's Monkey Administration's fabrications and missinformation to the American St.
